The Entrepreneur's Mindset

How did I come to have an entrepreneur's mindset? Well, it wasn't easy to get out of the mindset I used to have. I had to look in the mirror and realize that changes needed to happen. It's not all about the drive and hustling, although that is a crucial part to keep your business going. It's more about your thoughts and energy.

The number one element in having an entrepreneurial mindset is the thing that most people overlook.

Element #1 - Gratitude.

Gratitude unlocks the doors for everything. It emits positivity, which then projects over you and everything you do. Most successful people still reflect on when they first started and are forever grateful for then and now. You have to be thankful for your corporate job and keep that hustle mentality until you got everything you need from it.

At first, I wasn't grateful for my paycheck job and I was wondering why I couldn't get clients. My coach, Courtney Alaina Coaching, identified this issue. We addressed that I was allowing myself to slip into a place of remorse and dislike for a job that is paying my bills and a job that is giving me the tools to start my own business. Once I started to show gratitude for what I have, I started attracting my ideal clients.

Don't focus on the worst parts of a situation, when it could be even worse than that. Don't be envious of what other people have. Be grateful for everything you have and know that you're going to get there.

I am grateful for my paycheck job because it provides me with a paycheck that pays my bills and allows me to build my skills for my business.

Now, let's start manifesting!

The last element is to HUSTLE hard! You don’t get anywhere by staying still. I was talking to a gentleman who has a bath & body business for men. I didn't get his name, otherwise, I would shout him out because I'm all about supporting my fellow entrepreneurs and solopreneurs. Anyway, when I asked him how he was getting clients, just out of curiosity, he told me

You have to "speak those things that are not as if they be so". Have a clear vision of what you want. Manifesting with clarity will change your world, especially if you are gracious for what you already have.

I am grateful for my paycheck job because it provides me with a paycheck that pays my bills and allows me to build my skills for my business. My business will fund the lifestyle I desire and will double my income.

Doesn't that just sound fantastically wonderful?! There's another element you need to add to this formula.

Element #3 - Affirmations.

When people would say "I do daily affirmations".

I was like:

I had no clue what they were talking about. Until I started to research and put effort into my growth. Gratitude emits positive energy, manifestations speak things into existence, and affirmations bring life back into you. It's a game-changer! So let's complete this formula.

I am grateful for my paycheck job because it provides me with a paycheck that pays my bills and allows me to build my skills for my business. My business will fund the lifestyle I desire and will double my income. Because I am successful and I am enough. My business is successful and I am attracting my ideal clients.

Element #4 - Hustle.

Then the last element is to HUSTLE hard! You don’t get anywhere by staying still. I was talking to a gentleman who has a bath & body business for men. I didn't get his name, otherwise, I would shout him out because I'm all about supporting my fellow entrepreneurs and solopreneurs. Anyway, when I asked him how he was getting clients, just out of curiosity, he told me “I’m an old-school hustler. I go to barbershops and gyms and any place where I know my clients are”. That’s amazing to me! It’s so inspiring! Yes, you are attracting your ideal clients through manifestations and affirmations, but that should not deactivate the hustle in you to go find them as well! The hustle is the action behind all that positivity you put out. It’s so important to back your words with action.

My entrepreneur's mindset involves gratitude, manifestation, affirmation, and hustle. It's the secret formula to creating not just a better business, but a better life. So take a look in the mirror and ask yourself "Is it time to change my mindset?"
